(Tell the cabbie to take you 214- not via the highway. The front desk was great about calling us a cab and we were able to get to Foxwoods in about 15 minutes with a $30 cab fare with tip. The bathroom was gorgeous with a glass shower, as well as a whirlpool tub which I regret we didn't have time to take advantage of. We were pleased to walk into a HUGE guest room which seemed newly renovated with a giant flat screen TV and the most comfortable bed EVER. Check in was quick and efficient and we headed up to our room. We arrived to ample parking which was just off the highway and were greeted by friendly hotel staff at the front desk. We were heading to Foxwoods and it was much cheaper than staying at one of the casino hotels. My boyfriend and I stayed last night on my Marriott employee associate rate.
